Lake Louise

One of the most iconic and heavily-visited locations in the Canadian Rockies, the Lake Louise area offers great skiing in the winter, and awesome mountaineering, scrambling and hiking in the summertime. The areas around Moraine Lake and Lake Louise can get incredibly busy in the summer (and with good reason!), so it pays to start early or to broaden your horizons to the less-explored areas of Castle and Skoki on the other side of the valley.
