Maligne Lake

The incredibly picturesque Maligne Lake region of Jasper is world famous, and easily the park's most popular destination. Whether for canoeing, camping or hiking in the summer, or ski touring and mountaineering in the winter, the lake is always a hive of activity. However, recently proposed conservation efforts to save the last of the caribou in the area has thrown future accessibility into doubt, particularly during winter months of the year.
